With twinkling candles suspended from Manzanita branches and gorgeous orchids reminding of the butterflies, the wedding reception relocated you from the center of San Francisco to an old vintage outdoor garden in the suburbs. I set the goal creating this romantic vintage elegance in the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. This soft color wedding used a blush pink, ivory, and dusty blue palette, reminding me of a beautiful night in a garden in a wine county.
The inspiration for the wedding is presented by colors and airy style, adding the branches with hanging candles.
The bridal bouquet includes the primary flowers like peonies, ranunculus, and garden roses, pink astilbe, complemented by some blue belladonna and thistle to bring more warmth to the romantic bouquet.
The bridesmaids’ bouquets compliment the bridal bouquet presenting more light flowers.
Boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen, the family made out of ranunculus flowers with some blue accents and rustic touches.
The indoor wedding ceremony presented by 2 large manzanita trees and rose balls, adorned with crystal garlands and hanging glass cups with led candles. The ceremony decor relocated to the reception area to set a background for the sweetheart table.
The aisle markers are the rose pomanders with the crystal pendants and LED candles. Later I used these pomanders for the sweetheart table decor.
Reception area begins with the escort card table, one beautiful lantern centerpiece placed in the middle of the table.
For the reception, I used two centerpiece styles to create a vintage elegance wedding with gardenisque elements.
The first style included small manzanita branches with hanging candles and orchids, surrounded by the pillow of flowers like hydrangea, dusty miller, pink cymbidium orchids, blush roses, ivory spray roses, and blue belladonna.
The second design was an open lantern adorned with florals. This lantern centerpiece turned out so lovely, romantic and highlighted the style of the wedding.
And to finish our tour I would like you to see how the head table area looked after I and my assistant repurposed the flowers from the ceremony. The sweetheart table has the unique design – the set of rose pomanders or rose balls and branches, LED candles. Isn’t is elegant, soft and delicate?
I am thrilled to share a short video clip:
