Setting up this romantic botanic garden wedding at the Gardens at the Heather Farm was so pleasant, it hardly felt like work. There was a slight breeze, it was about 75 degrees out and the sun was shining. Alana and Jerard were married in the Rose Garden under the gazebo covered by climbing roses and then partied all night in the nicely decored clubhouse.
I love this place for the variety of flowers and plants, for the water reservoir nearby, and for endless rose blooming season – all that makes this place the ideal venue for the wedding. There were some really cute details in the decor that I’d like to point out. I did soft romantic colors on the flower which paired lovely with the greens through the course of the evening.
Alana’s bouquet was soft pastel tones of pinks, blush, and white, rose gold, complimented with rustic greens, featuring pink peonies, white and blush ranunculus, blush spray roses, vintage roses Quicksand, Quinn Ann Lace, and stock, finished with a rhinestone piece.
The bridesmaid’s bouquets were smaller versions of the bridal bouquet, however, I introduced some blue blooms there.
Adorable boutonnieres of ranunculus with other elements on the side for the groom, groomsmen, and parents:
Then, the reception was a continuation of the romantic palette with peonies and Queen Anne’s lace anchoring the summery feel.
The head table adorned with a lush garland of greens and special blooms, accented on the sides with geometric shape terrariums and repurposed bridesmaids’ flowers.
Elevated centerpieces featured seasonal blowers such as peonies in full bloom period onto tables, creating the gorgeous view of nice wedding venue. Each table had a green garland used as a runner to create a garden style look of the wedding at the Gardens at the Heather Farm.
As extra details planned by Alana, I put onto each dinner plate had a piece of fern by a menu card.
Lastly, super delicious cake by Kelly accented by a few blooms.
The wedding flowers for Alana and Jerard turned out so romantic and a perfect reflection of them as a couple. Everyone at Dream Flowers was thrilled to be a part of the big day!
Congratulations to Alana and Jerard! May your lives together be filled with romance and a little touch of sparkle. Just like your wedding day!
