Absolutely divine and gorgeous wedding flowers for the intimate country wedding at Ralston White Retreat, Mill Valley. Vanessa and Aidan chose gorgeous Ralston L White Retreat to officially say ‘I Do’ in California organizing their wedding from over the seas – New Zealand. This is one more wedding from the series destination wedding in my portfolio that brings me a lot of excitement to see my real couple in person, to let them be happy about their wedding florist and enjoy the big day.
Their sophisticated country wedding style surely present their yellow and blue colors and particular flower choice – sunflowers.
Following the floral mood for Vanessa and Aidan, seeing them only once via Skype, we found the right inspirations to combine all elements together into the lovely and romantic wedding for the family.
Vanessa was referred from one of my favorite event planners – Stacy, the owned of They So Loved Events. Then we had a conference call to go over all ideas and details together. She showed me her favorite wedding bouquet of yellow, deep and light blue, some white and green tones that palette became the color scheme for the styling of this lovely wedding.

I was super excited to be able to find in a flower market and include those dusty blue globe thistle throughout the wedding flower concept. Along with local sunflowers, off-white spray roses, blue delphinium Bella Donna, lush Astilbe these delicious seasonal colors were combined with seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller, textural fillers and fresh greens.

The adorable bridal party included Vanessa’s sister and 2 more friends all wearing navy blue, so the vivid country style color palette worked absolutely perfectly with the stronger tone of yellow.
Boutonnieres for the Groom in blue, for the groomsmen in yellow, as well as some flower decor for parents suppose to have the yellow color.
The wedding ceremony took a place in a front yard, featuring beautiful wedding arch with asymmetric flower design on it. Aisle walkway was completed with a little paper heart flowers that made a little pathway directly to the arch. Arch flowers designed in a rustic manner with a curly willow, and a lot of eucalyptus among the flowers.
The reception at the Ralston White Retreat was transformed into a sweet and simple dining soiree.
Long timber tables with ensembles of clear bottle design generously filled with themed flowers placed in sets throughout the table. The blue runners and yellow napkins on the plates completed the picture of the dining room.
Two fresh greenery garland featured the bridal chairs.
The vibrant colors in combination with rustic style floral concept melded nicely to create this sophisticated country wedding style:
