Eileen and Cedric had a traditional pastel wedding with burgundy accents at Casa Bella, Sunol, last September. The couple was sure rounded by family and friends on a glistening warm day in North California. The Bride and Groom treated their nearest and dearest guests to a spectacular and fun outdoor love celebration in the cozy, romantic garden.
Eileen wanted a relaxed countryside feel with loose and organic blooms beautifully arranged in centerpieces, bouquets. The beautiful venue set the tone for the design of the entire wedding with its earthy and rustic, yet romantic feel. Every natural color of the venue was beautifully incorporated throughout the traditional pastel wedding. From the whites and naturals colors to the lush greens in the garden and beyond. For added softness to the natural color scheme, the couple chose to incorporate delicate pastels in various shades of off white, blush, rose gold, and accent these colors with burgundy. This color combination perfectly highlighted the importance of the day, created enough accents to make the celebration more interesting and live, and a hint to the upcoming fall.
Here you can see the mood board which created from this wedding proposal:
Personal Flowers: bouquet and boutonnieres
Eileen carried a medium bouquet of floral and greenery arranged in a natural shape with plenty of texture including dahlias, garden roses, ranunculus, celosia, burgundy foliage, and eucalyptus. Flower stems were wrapped up in trailing ivory and champagne ribbons.
Eileen maids had smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet designed in more contrast color combination to let the main bouquet stand out on the photos.
Cedric looked dashing in his dusty blue suit and textured boutonniere with a white ranunculus. For the guys, we designed red flower boutonnieres to much the burgundy ties they had.
Casa Bella Wedding Ceremony:
The bride looked beautiful in her gown and a delicate lace train gently flowing down her back as she walked down the aisle of Sunol’s Casa Bella where the ceremony was held. The awaiting groom looked handsome and a big smile as he watched his wife-to-be come towards him.
To open ceremony space, we placed two arrangements onto barrels on either side, each displaying a large arrangement with lots of lush blooms. There were even artichokes because Krista loved what a unique look they brought to the arrangements. And of course, in the interest of repurposing, we later used these arrangements on behind the sweetheart table to flame the couple during the dinner.
Wedding Reception at Casa Bella:
After the couple’s nuptials, the bridal party remained in the garden of the Casa Bella with their guest taking photos and chatting during the cocktail hour.
For the reception, the couple chose traditional Chiavari chairs and round tables dressed in white linens to create an intimate space for their loved ones and a rectangular floral-filled sweetheart table placed where the newlyweds could see every guest. The tables were set with gold-rimmed plates, clear glassware, and 2 types of short centerpieces. We offered 2 types to provide a variety in the ballroom and continues interest throughout the space. The first set of tables featured a gold and glass lantern with flowers in and outside. The second set of tables showcased a centerpiece in gold vessels with gorgeous ivory and burgundy blooms mixed with lush greenery. We love how these brought your eye up since the venue’s ceilings are so high. wedding with burgundy accents at Casa Bella
We continued to bring the guest’s eye towards to Eileen and Cedric’s table. This beautiful zone created by ceremony arrangements and a special arrangement for their table.
Thank you KatMa Photography for capturing all the unique details!
We were delighted to be a part of your day, Eileen and Cedric!
