After meeting with Melody, it was very quickly clear that, while keeping the florals romantically designed, it was important to maintain a relaxed and whimsical feel to the design as well. What a wonderful challenge and we were certainly excited to get to design Melody and John’s beautiful wedding flowers! romantic wedding palm event center wedding flowers
The venue chosen was the beautiful Palm Event Center, Pleasanton CA. which features a winery style for the ceremony space and the reception. The Palm Event Center is a great venue choice and allows the florals to really stand out!
Melody wanted the bouquet to be romantic, relaxed and whimsical. We designed a romantic collection of garden-like blooms with greenery and textural elements. By creating the design in a rounded shape with tendrils of greenery trailing from the bouquet, this added to the feeling of garden-inspired casualness. romantic wedding palm event center wedding flowers
The bouquet was kept in shades of white, ivory, blush and green and the stems were tied with ivory ribbon. Greenery such as Italian ruscus, pittosporum, and eucalyptus was entwined with Peonies, O’Hara garden roses, pink Malaya spray roses, and white Anemone and Ranunculus. When combined, the mix of elegant flowers and foliage gave the garden-like, relaxed whimsical flowers Melody had envisioned. romantic wedding palm event center
Melody wanted the bouquet design for her bridal party to mimic hers so similar foliage was used. The O’Hara garden roses were replaced with Playa Blanca roses, white Anemones, and Ranunculus; and the stems were tied with ivory ribbon keeping them slightly different but still complimenting Katie’s bouquet. romantic wedding palm event center wedding flowers
Corsages for the family members featured spray roses, a touch of Pieris japonica and hyacinth blooms.
Boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen were designed of white ranunculus with a touch pink on the side.
The romantic feel of the wedding ceremony under the pergola with blooming wisteria was presented by 2 lush arrangements onto the barrels and hanging jars down the aisle. romantic wedding palm event center wedding flowers
Since the room in which the reception was held was as well styled with vine barrels, we design the centerpieces with a loose and garden-like esthetic. By adding more greens and tendrils of greenery, the relaxed whimsical feel of the bouquets was mimicked in the reception flowers. To then keep the displays elegant, we paired the florals with clear vases with floating candles and clear glass votives. Both the simple feel of the votives and the elegant not rustic selection of the flowers for the centerpieces gave the reception decor a bit of a romantic factor. romantic wedding palm event center wedding flowers
Alternate tables had a cut glass cylindrical vase surrounded by a floral wreath. Keeping florals low means conversation can flow and lots of toasts can be made and enjoyed! romantic wedding palm event center wedding flowers
Romantic sweetheart table decor featured all bridesmaids and bridal bouquets for the night.
Thank you, Melody, and John for letting us share your perfect day. We really appreciate the wonderful words you had that followed afterward too…
Lana is amazing!
She did all the florals for my wedding day and truly made my vision come to life. The pricing is really reasonable for the amount of florals and design.
Throughout the process, I reviewed with Lana over the phone twice; first time was the initial consultation/vision, and one more time right before the wedding. She really makes sure she knows what you want and she is aware of your budget.
Honestly – everything went perfectly and if you choose Lana, you are in good hands! She is also the absolute sweetest and just a joy to be around.
