Christine and William tied the knot with a vintage garden style wedding at Lawrence Hall in Berkeley, CA. The outdoor ceremony was framed by a view of the gorgeous landscape of the Bay Area. The wedding featured vintage lilac, crisp yellows, whites and touches of silver from florals to custom signage that perfectly complemented the sophisticated atmosphere of the venue.
To begin with, I would love to present the inspirational colors, ideas, and the wedding lookbook. Even though I created only personal flowers for this romantic wedding, it was a lot of work.
Christine decided to go with fewer colors in her bouquet, bright yellow we substituted with pale yellow, kept lavender and lilac colors among whites and cream ones. The shape of the bouquet is free, lush but still round. A must have flowers the bridal bouquet need to include the blooms of true lavender and some succulents.
The bridesmaids’ bouquets had more vivid colors – true yellow and lavender, with touches of whites.
This is a parade of boutonnieres that I made for this Vintage Garden Style wedding.
To match the bridal bouquet of white and lavender colors, I created the white ranunculus boutonniere complimented by scented lavender.
The Groomsmen boutonnieres made of 2 yellow craspedias, with a succulent accent. The boutonnieres matched the bridesmaids’ bouquets.
The boutonnieres for parents were made of white spray roses and lavender.
The same color combination applied to the mother’s wrist corsages.
All other relatives’ boutonnieres had lavender rose and succulents.
A big number of lucky women got the pinned corsage made of white orchids, roses, and hyacinth blooms.
This lovely centerpiece is the ideal wedding centerpiece for this vintage garden style wedding. I arrange it from leftover blooms – white dahlias, white roses, white and pale yellow ranunculus, lavender scabiosa, cream spray roses, fern, dusty miller, seeded eucalyptus, passion flower vine.
