One of the most difficult decisions that my clients often face when considering their color palette for wedding flowers is whether to feature color or not! Sometimes my lovely customers seem to put themselves into a tailspin over the choice of considering color versus a neutral white palette; it is most definitely one of the more challenging decisions to make. As you will see from this gorgeous wedding flowers concept featured below, color worked perfectly for Christine and Matt’s bright and beautiful Piedmont Community Hall wedding day.

The wedding flowers inspiration we worked with is below.

I made an unstructured whimsical bouquet design for Christine, and the slight sticking blooming branches out of spirea and flowering fillers gave movement and body to the bouquet designs. Christine got lucky in the bridal bouquet with seasonal availability of a gorgeous hot pink peonies and spring anemones, the perfect way to add that touch of color and an excellent opportunity to pick that color up in your lipstick. The results as you can see were just stunning, Christine’s bridal look was modern and fresh, her relaxed gardenesque floral concept with pops of beautiful color worked wonderfully.

The bridesmaid’s subtle dress color worked wonderfully as a base tone with the pops of bright blooms concept.

The ceremony featured our pretty hanging garland above the cross in the Pilgrim Lutheran Church, the suspended chandeliers with greens and flowers added, a beautiful floral touch to the old space.
Sets of candles adorned other aisle pew, and a long wave of rose petals highlighted the aisle runner for the bride and groom. Peonies, roses, hydrangea, and lisianthus featured and all combined to create a relaxed and vibrant floral style.

The Reception was outdoors, adorned by low table centerpieces in bright colors. The weather was really nice, not too hot and very comfortable to enjoy the crowds of guests. My helper set the tables up while I was finishing the arch glands behind the sweetheart table that became the main decor.

Behind the Sweetheart table, we set the lush redwood arbor with long top garland.
