Rosa with a love of flowers was super excited to work with me to create a unique country vintage wedding style for her floral concept – Shades of Summer Wedding, it was a beautiful and romantic summer wedding to be a part of, and I had such fun creating her designs. Rosa and Jerson were married at The Terrace Room with the gorgeous view of the Lake Merritt and sharing the celebrations with them were great friends, much-loved family, and a couple of cute flower girls that sometimes stole the show!
We adored creating a floral concept that replicated the summer romance in pinks and blues, and by showcasing vintage chubby chick style! That was the inspirations based on her pictures and colors. Rosa requested the mock-up arrangements that I made in April, the sample completely satisfied the client with the size and overall look.
Bridesmaids’ bouquets for the summer wedding were similar to the Bridal bouquet, however, had more color in design – pinker and bluer.
The boutonnieres for the male party had a thistle bud and a pink flower – a ranunculus for the groom, a spray rose for a groomsman.
The ceremony took place in the restaurant, so it was very important to create the decor that would stay through the dinner to feature the beautiful new family. I created the draping for the stage aka arbor and put 2 flower sprays asemantically. After the ceremony, the guest’s tables were spread out in the room for a dinner and dance.
