Modern Fall Editorial Featured at Wedding Chicks

I’m super excited about the Wedding Chicks feature and want to share with you some details about our hard team work. The task was to create a new, modern look for the inspirational wedding photo shoot or the editorial session with bright colors – berry and burgundy with a touch of hot pink. We call this Modern Fall Editorial.

As all elements puzzled together, we’ve got the beautiful concept built by Liza. I must admit, she was great in coordination the project and sourcing all details, and at the same time, she is the sweet person and easy to work with. In short time she found the venue for the editorial, called all vendors and created the overall mood board, the itemized list of details for the photos.

The pallet is pulled from the reach berry colors – wine, raspberry pink, and blackberry with a hint of dusty blue. I decided to get some local flowers as burgundy dahlias, roses Milano, hydrangea, and snapdragon, include the deep foliage and use premium flowers in the bridal bouquet. 

So, let’s start from my tasks:

• First, I created a suspending flower arch to feature the ceremony place. The suspending flower design made out of simple flowers that transformed into the shower of flowers and greenery. I used only snapdragons flowers, amaranth, cotinus and agonis, eucalyptus foliage. After the ceremony, we placed the head table under the flower shower to add another look for the main table.

• Next, a bridal bouquet of the lush, cascading shape arranged of the deep and reach colors – featuring burgundy dahlias, hot pink roses, vine color phalaenopsis orchids, red spray roses, black scabiosa, greens and other flowers.

• A boutonniere of the orchid flowers to match with the bouquet

• Centerpieces aka flower runner for the table. The centerpieces arranged into mirrored container to create the clean look for the stone table.
