Before having a meeting with an event floral designer, you must already have secured your ceremony and reception site. In this way you’ll be able to discuss  all details of  wedding flowers will be needed to either highlight a specific look at your site or complement an existing romantic, vintage or garden venue aesthetic.
Also don’t design the bridal flowers  until you’ve ordered your wedding gown. A first meeting will hopefully be completed at least 6 months before your wedding date to let you have plenty of time to work out the main concept and details.

I would like to see some examples of your wedding work? How long you work as a wedding florist? Where did you learn? Do you have professional awards in floral designs? Dream Flowers and Events has a lot of photos of weddings, events available on our the website, even more available if I meet with my customers in person.
I have worked with flowers more than 10 years doing creative floral events and custom orders. I learned floristry in Europe and continue mastering my skills by taking workshops and seminars from world known floral designers. I have a lot of  awards and publications.
Is my date is open? How many wedding do you have for this date? We take one wedding for the same date to provide the best quality of florals. To check your date you can please contact me via email or call me.
Have you worked with my ceremony and reception locations? Provide us more information about your venue sending us an email with all details, and we answer about your location site.
Who does flowers for me? Is that you or it is going to be other florist? How far in advance of the wedding will you create the bouquets and arrangements, and how are they stored? As working with flowers is my passion and love I prefer to do flower arrangements myself. For big events I may invite other florists, with myself focusing on key designs.
We do all arrangements from the freshest flowers available on the market, typically  flowers are purchased 1-2 days before the wedding day. We work with flowers a day before and store them in a cooler to make sure that your flowers stay fresh as long as possible.
I have a budget for wedding flowers? Can we work in it? Can you share with some ideas  where to save some money? We can work with your different wedding flowers budgets. We create a concept together, do a draft price list and customize all details to meet the budget available to you. There are many ways that allow to save your money and have a contemporary design, and having the flowers matching your demands is our signature approach.
Do you offer specific packages or is everything customized? We have a few wedding packages to meet our customer needs. However, most of our wedding packages are customized based on the customers’ requests.

Is the consultation with the wedding florist free?

We offer 2 free consultations for our customers and provide our advice about seasonal flowers, color combinations and wedding flowers. Contact us to schedule yours one.
Do you do some samples of the wedding centerpieces to see? We can do some hand sketches, digital collages of wedding flowers for your venue. Also we can invite you to come and see if we have some similar centerpieces similar to yours. We have an option to create a wedding centerpiece for the one of preliminary meetings if we agree with the customer.
Do you do set up of wedding flowers? How much time do you need to set them up? Do you do break down at the end of the wedding day? Do you take the wedding centerpieces away? We do set up and break down of all flowers we make for you. We contact the venue regarding the time in advance to plan our work. Sometimes the venues have only 2.5 – 3 hours for set up and 30 minutes for break down.
Depending of the venue we can bring ready centerpieces and set them up fast; or we can work on the site if we need to create large scale designs.
All flowers are made for you and you keep them.
Can you provide  vases, lanterns, votives, bay trees, lamps and other accessories as well as flowers for my wedding date? We can offer some vases and other decor for rent if you need to.
Do you have a contract to sign? Is an itemized list of all the elements we’ve discussed, along with prices, included ? Is there any tax included? Dream Flowers has a wedding agreement with all listed items you ordered. The customer pay the sales tax (currently, 9% in CA). The contract contains all details we agreed with the customer, including the price breakdown.
Are any delivery fee? Is there an extra fee if I need you to move arrangements to the reception site? A delivery fee is calculated based on the location of the wedding site. Delivery fee is discussed with the customer and is included in the contract.
How much in advance should I pay for wedding flowers order? Do you require a deposit? To book your wedding date you need to make a deposit in an amount of 30% of the total order. The total amount is due in 30 days before the wedding date.
When will you need to provide final numbers on attendants, reception tables, etc? In prior 1 month weeks you can provide final numbers of tables. If the number of centerpieces was different in a contract you need to pay for extra centerpieces.
Are there any tips can to help you save money? There are a few tips you can use: 1) You can save by picking seasonal flowers instead of off-season ones 2) You can change sizes of centerpieces, and make them from more affordable flowers and materials 3) We offer many more for our customers
What is the refund policy if for some reason I need to cancel my order? Dream Flowers has 30% non-refundable deposit that is due at the contract signing, which allows us to order flowers in advance and have the best price available to you. In case if you need to cancel the wedding flowers let us know 30 days in advance.
